You can pay by credit card or Paypal through an easy checkout system. The online learning platform/Paypal only allow me to show a price is US dollars. The fees have been adjusted to reflect what the course would be in British pounds (my home currency!). For example: $49 = £35 approx and $69 = £49 approx. Exchange rates do vary but I monitor them.
The course will be available for 12 months from the date that you sign up. You can view the course, for your own use, as many times as you like during this period. All courses have PDF Material & Equipment lists and Course notes which provide a summary of the processes you have learnt as a reminder for future use. Some courses also have PDF’s providing supplementary/bonus information. These are downloadable and available for you to print and keep. In the unlikely event that I have to close a course I will inform you and provide a period of time in which you can download the content.
Join me and fellow students in the private Facebook group - Jennie Loader Studio Students - to share your projects, successes, questions, plus chat together and learn from each other. I have taught these courses many times over in face-to-face workshops and whilst I was developing their content I kept in mind all the questions that I have been asked by students over the years. The video lessons provide in-depth instructions, with hints, tips and extra information along the way. Therefore, you should be able to do them at your own pace, on your own, and achieve a good outcome. If you have a problem accessing your course/s or a general query you can email me via the support link in your personal learning account.
Everyone works at their own pace and different courses will need different amounts of time to complete depending on the project and technique it is teaching. The amount of time to allow for each course is suggested in the course description. All courses are self-directed, allowing you to do them when you want and at your own pace, so there are no specific times you need to be available. The instructions are all step-by-step providing all the information you will need to achieve a good outcome.
To help you I have made some course PDF’s and videos available to watch before you purchase a course – check them out in the Course Content section.
Yes! The wonderful thing about an online course is that it is available worldwide. As long as you have a good internet connection and understand some English the course will be good for you. As the lessons are mainly recorded video, even if your English is not the best you will be able to follow the visual instructions.
No, you will need to provide these yourself. My courses require easy to access materials and simple equipment to complete successfully. A PDF listing what you will need is available to view before purchasing any course (see the Course Content section).
Courses are designed for you to start at the beginning and work your way through until the end, building on your learning from the previous lesson. However, if you have experience of feltmaking you may wish to fast track through some sections. Bonus sections can be viewed at any time.
Yes you can. You can view the course on your phone, but some students may find this screen size a little small to benefit fully from the lessons. You will need a good internet connection in order to stream the videos which make up most of the lessons in this course.
