Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I pay for a course and why are prices shown in US dollars?

Payment is via Paypal -you don't need a Paypal account - you can pay using credit card as a guest if you wish. The checkout system is clear and easy to use. The online learning platform/Paypal only allow me to show a price is US dollars. The fees have been adjusted to reflect what the course would be in British pounds (my home currency!). For example: $35 = £27 approx and $45 = £35 approx. Exchange rates do vary but I monitor them.

  • How long do I have access to my courses?

All courses are available to you for 2 years from the date that you sign up. You can view the course, for your own use, as many times as you like during this period. All courses have PDF Material & Equipment lists and Course notes which provide a summary of the processes you have learnt as a reminder for future use. Some courses also have PDF’s providing supplementary/bonus information. These are downloadable and available for you to print and keep. In the unlikely event that I have to close a course I will inform you and provide a period of time in which you can download the content.

  • Jennie, are you, as my teacher, available for feedback and questions about the course?

To support your learning I have set up a private Facebook Group - Jennie Loader Studio Students - where you can share your projects, successes, questions, plus chat together and learn from each other. I will join you regularly in this group. I have taught these courses many times over in face-to-face workshops and whilst I was developing their content I kept in mind all the questions that I have been asked by students over the years. The video lessons provide in-depth instructions, with hints, tips and extra information along the way. Therefore, you should be able to do them at your own pace, on your own, and achieve a good outcome. If you have a problem accessing your course/s or a general query you can email me via the support link in your personal learning account.

  • How long will a course take to complete?

The amount of time to allow for each course is suggested in each course description. Everyone works at their own pace and different courses will need different amounts of time to complete depending on the project and technique it is teaching. All courses are self-directed, allowing you to do them when you want and at your own pace, so there are no specific times when you need to be available.

  • How do I know if this course is right for me?

To help you I have made some course PDF’s and videos available to watch before you purchase a course – check them out in the Course Content section.

  • Are materials and equipment provided?

No, you will need to provide these yourself. My courses require easy to access materials and simple equipment to complete successfully. A PDF listing what you will need is available to view before purchasing any course.

  • Can I use any device to view a course?

Yes you can. You can view your courses on your phone, but some students may find this screen size a little small to benefit fully from the lessons. You will need a good internet connection in order to stream the videos which make up most of the lessons.
